 Cap Bon's Client looking for Director IT Strategy Governance

MUST be local to New York City and work onsite 5 days

In this senior role your responsibilities will include:

Running the Expanded Enterprise Management Change Committee Portfolio Mgmt. The committee members include CIO, Deputy CIO, CTO, Heads of Equity and Fixed Income, and the Head of Shared Services.

Lead the EMCC and prioritize all technology projects for the firm.

You will be responsible to ensure that all projects and portfolios are aligned to strategic targets (5-year roadmap).

Ensure issues are discussed and given visibility and transparency.

Ensure that projects are well vetted, create value and align to overall goals of the firm.

Work with all of the businesses (I.E. Equities and Fixed Income) to align projects to strategic initiatives, ensure that people are properly following process, ensure that there is a comprehensive view of the firm wide projects.

Ensure that the PMOs are adhering to Governance standards set firm wide (EPMO, IT PMO, Front Office PMO etc.

Maintain KPI scorecards.

To qualify for this role your experience must include working with technology and strategy in an investment bank or financial firm. Experience working in a PMO is a big advantage.

The ideal candidate is someone who comes from a technical background and then ran a PMO within Equities and can work on strategy.

High level verbal and written communication skills.
