IT Governance Project Manager

IT Governance Project Manager· NY/NJ-USA - REF : 002146

  Cap Bon's Client looking for IT Governance Project Manager 

MUST be local to NYC. This is a hybrid position onsite 3 days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience working on end-to-end Governance and IT projects.
  • Engage internal clients to understand their needs, where and how to provide governance support.
  • Create accurate project logs – dependency, RACI, Risk, etc.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and monitor alerts.
  • Ability to promptly escalate any delays or issues during project planning and execution phases
  • Ability to communicate and report progress, benchmarking, issues, and presentation to Senior Management
  • Create project artifacts – project planning, templates, execution reports, development, and release planning.
  • In a transformation environment – show ability to deal with and manage sudden changes.
  • Helping project teams create their intake forms, project plans, risk logs, RACI and RAID log, etc
  • Following up with project progress and risks that may impact timely delivery.
  • Showing ability to engage senior managers and address conflicts.
  • Review, screen and approve health of projects.
  • Creating great presentations using PPT and Visio for senior management
  • Manage backlog, ceremonies, and risk management.

SKILLS:

  • Experience working in a PMO organization.
  • 2+ Years project management experience – Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience using project management platforms like – SERVICENOW, PTS, JIRA, Excel
  • SharePoint experience
  • Experience in Microsoft tools – PPT, SharePoint, Visio, Excel
  • Self-starter that can proactively manage tasks to completion.
  • Strong written and presentation skills
